Risk Disclosure
Last updated 28 October 2026
Please read this before following any signal or switching on automated trading. Trading is risky and you can lose money.
1. Not investment advice
Tickwise AI provides software, signals and information. It is not a broker, investment adviser or fund manager and does not know your finances, goals or experience. Nothing on the service is personal advice or a recommendation that any trade is suitable for you. Consider getting independent advice before trading.
2. Past and backtested results
- Past performance, whether live or backtested, does not guarantee future results.
- Backtested results are hypothetical. They show what the strategy rules would have done on past prices. No real money was traded, and they can't fully reflect real-world spreads, slippage, liquidity, delays or the emotional pressure of trading. Strategies can also be fitted too closely to past data.
- Live results on the Performance and Signals tabs come from the strategy's own trades on TradingView on a $10,000 model account. They are not the results of any customer account.
- Losing streaks happen. A strategy that worked in the past can stop working.
3. Automated trading risks
- Trades are placed on your account without asking you first, as long as copying is switched on.
- Your results will differ from Tickwise's: brokers quote different prices, spreads, commissions and swaps; orders can fill at worse prices (slippage), especially around news or market opens; and your lot sizes are rounded to your broker's steps.
- Technology can fail. TradingView alerts, our servers, MetaApi, your broker or the internet can be slow or down, so trades can be delayed, missed, duplicated or closed at different prices. Stops may not protect you in fast markets or price gaps.
- Your settings matter. A larger account size, a higher risk per trade or a higher daily loss limit means larger losses when trades lose. Daily loss limits are checked regularly but are not guaranteed to stop losses at exactly that amount.
- Leverage, margin calls and stop-outs at your broker can close your trades and turn small moves into large losses.
4. Your responsibility
You decide whether to use signals or automated trading, which account to link, and which settings to use. You are responsible for watching your account and for your trading results. If you are unsure, start with a demo account or a small amount and the recommended settings.
