Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Tickwise AI ("we") collects when you use the Tickwise AI website and service, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Data we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
- Plan and billing: your plan, trial and renewal dates. Card or payment details are handled by our payment provider; we don't store full card numbers.
- Linked trading accounts: platform (MT4/MT5), account number, broker server, balance, equity, currency, leverage, open positions and the history of trades Tickwise placed, plus your risk settings and the warnings you accepted. Your trading password is passed to our broker-connection provider and is not saved in our database.
- Usage: signal preferences (for example muted assets), pop-ups you closed, link attempts, and technical logs such as IP address, browser type and errors, used to keep the service secure and working.
- Messages: anything you send us, for example support emails.
2. How we use it
- to create and run your account and give you the features of your plan;
- to connect to your linked MT4/MT5 accounts and place, manage and record the trades you asked for;
- to show your results on the Home and account dashboards;
- to send service emails such as password resets and important changes;
- to take payments and prevent fraud and abuse (for example repeated free trials);
- to fix problems, keep the service secure and improve it;
- to meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
We use your data because it is needed to provide the service you signed up for, for our legitimate interests in running a secure service, to meet legal duties, or with your consent where the law requires it.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run the service, and only what they need:
- MetaApi: connects to your MT4/MT5 account (account number, server, trading password, trades).
- Hosting and database providers: store and run the website and its data.
- Payment provider: processes subscriptions and payments.
- Email provider: sends service emails.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Authorities: if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users.
Some of these providers are in other countries. Where data leaves your country, we rely on the protections those providers offer.
4. Cookies and browser storage
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser also remembers small preferences, such as light or dark mode and which signal pop-ups you have already seen. We don't use advertising cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this page.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable time, except records we must keep for legal, tax or dispute reasons (for example payment records and the warnings you accepted for risk settings).
6. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to the admin area is restricted. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us straight away if you think your account was accessed by someone else.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to:
- see the personal data we hold about you, or get a copy;
- correct it;
- delete your account and data;
- object to or limit some uses, or withdraw consent you gave.
Email [email protected] from the address on your account. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
8. Children
The service is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you about important changes.
